Prevention Services

Prevention Services utilizes community partnerships as an opportunity to educate residents and address issues including substance use disorders, suicide, teen pregnancy, domestic violence, and mental health. Our prevention specialist works directly with these partnerships to develop new, and support existing, community prevention programs that reduce risk factors and promote protective behaviors associated with these community issues. In addition to working with these programs, our prevention specialist delivers various presentations to local schools, provides Mental Health First Aid training in the community, and hosts various program fundraising events.
