Encompass Community Supports, formally known as Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services (RRCS) is hiring a Professional Licensed Clinician and Residents in Counseling to work in our Culpeper office. Our full-time employees work 37.5 hours weekly.

Encompass Community Supports is an approved site for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. If you work at least two years with us, you may eligible to receive up to $50,000 by working full-time, or up to $25,000 by working part-time. The NHSC program offers behavioral health clinicians a chance to receive funds to repay student loans when working at an approved NHSC worksite.

Clinical Supervision may be provided.
Crisis Services
Crisis Services staff works with individuals experiencing a crisis due to mental health or substance use disorders. These services are available 24/7/365 and are focused on immediate, short term crisis intervention. Services are provided over the phone, within our clinics, at our CIT assessment center, in local jails, and in local hospital emergency departments. Incumbents in this position are required to work some overnights, weekends, and holidays. Shift Differential is available.

Behavioral Health
Outpatient Behavioral Health staff work with individual’s aged 7+ experiencing mental health symptoms as well as co-occurring disorders. These services are strength-focused, recovery-orientated, and are designed to evaluate and treat the effects of mental health that impair and individual’s ability to function. Services are delivered in community clinics (Fauquier or Culpeper). Incumbents in this position will conduct initial assessments and provide ongoing individual and family counseling. Some evening work is required.

Substance Use Disorders
The incumbent in this position will work in a well-established short term residential treatment setting. Our residential treatment facility offers medical detox services as well as a 28 day residential substance treatment program. Residential treatment services provide support to individuals during recovery and include: individual treatment planning; individual, group, and family counseling; acupuncture; educational activities; and more. Incumbents in this position are required to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Duties:

  • Provides high quality, compassionate, and ethical outpatient mental health therapy to clients through individual, family, group, and crisis counseling.
  • Performs intakes, clinical assessments, and diagnostic interviews, and develops appropriate clinical diagnoses and writes comprehensive intake and diagnostic summaries and reports.
  • Completes electronic clinical documentation within 24 hours of service delivery and maintains confidentiality of records with HIPAA standards.

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Human Services or related field.
  • LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSATP or LMHP eligible.
  • Professional Clinicians: at least 1 year of experience or internship.
  • Senior Clinicians: at least 6 years of experience post licensure.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge and awareness of evidence based practices as well as the ability to implement these approaches.
  • Knowledge of services and systems available in the community including primary health care, support services, and generic community resources.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel.

Special Requirements:

  • Valid Virginia driver’s license with acceptable record.
  • Maintain certifications and training as required.
