Mobile Child Crisis Services (Child REACH)
Mobile child crisis services (Child REACH) are provided to all children and adolescents, up to 18 years of age, who are experiencing an immediate behavioral or mental health need. The purpose of this program is to avert hospitalizations, stabilize individuals, and mobilize family and community support to maintain an individual in the most natural and least restrictive environment possible. These are short-term services provided within the home and community.
Services encompass crisis stabilization, crisis supervision, and crisis intervention and are billed to insurance providers, but delivered regardless of an individual’s ability to pay.
Available services include:
- Assistance with crisis de-escalation
- Initial assessment
- Safety planning
- Crisis intervention plans
- Crisis education and prevention plans
- Coordination and linkage to community resources
- Family psychoeducation
