Juvenile Court Services Program
Through an interagency agreement with the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), 20W District Court Services Unit (CSU), RRCS provides mental health and substance use evaluations and treatment for adolescents currently on probation, parole, or in a court diversion program. The goal of these strength-focused, recovery-oriented services is to reduce residential and detention placements. This program operates under the belief that by addressing the mental health and substance use needs of this population, these individuals will become law-abiding adults.
Individuals are referred to this program through the 20W District Court Services Unit.
Services may include:
- Diagnostic evaluations
- Case management
- Individual mental health counseling
- Individual substance use counseling
- Substance use groups
- Family counseling
- Drug testing
